Here at Island Foods, we are a family run business all about building and maintaining a long standing reputation as a traditional butcher.
We are looking to add a full time Butcher's Shop Assistant to our busy team. A background in food preparation is required for this role, so would suit someone who has experience working in kitchens or a similar setting.
Duties will include, but are not limited to;
- Preparing meat items for our butcher's counter
- Assisting in cleaning
- Handling cash and card transactions
- Providing good customer service
This role is for 40 hours a week over 5 days, with Sundays and another day in the week off. We are closed for most Bank Holidays and our shop is open between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
