We are looking for someone who can maintain and deliver high standards within our BRAND NEW Sandown shop, could this be you?

About Us:

Working primarily in our Sandown Shop but also across our retail outlets on the Isle of Wight when required, you will be a part of our permanent team of Shop Managers and as one of our retail team you will be responsible for the day to day running of our retail outlets, where customer service is our priority.

Your duties will range from accepting donations of goods, signing customers up to Gift Aid, recruiting, managing and motivating volunteers, as well as making sure the shop is welcoming and inviting. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that donated goods are prepared and sorted ready for future sale. This role will involve a significant amount of manual handling, for which specific training will be provided to you.

Whether you have a commercial or charity retail background, as long as you are committed to our causes and have the enthusiasm, energy and the drive to ensure our customers and donors receive the customer experience they deserve, we are interested in hearing from you.

About you:

You will be energetic and motivated with the ability to inspire others and ensure excellent retail standards and customer service is maintained throughout our outlets. You will also need to ensure that our retail operation delivers enhanced brand awareness and increased community engagement across the Isle of Wight. A good knowledge of Gift Aid would be advantageous.

As you may be required to work from any of our retail outlets, it is desirable that you have a full current driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes as public transport to some of shops is limited.
