Kitchen Assistant/Food Handler
Our historic clubhouse is one of the finest venues on the Isle of Wight with wonderful views over Bembridge Harbour. Our Kitchen Assistant/Food Handler will play a key role in delivering our growing year-round events activities for members and non-members.
Assisting in the day to day running of the kitchen & assisting in food preparation
We are looking for someone hard working who will work as part of a team in a busy kitchen but alone when necessary.
- Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen production areas
- Preparing food including starters and desserts
- Rinsing, washing & sanitising dishes
- Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with health and hygiene regulations
- Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware
- Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor
- Emptying bins when they are full
- Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times
- Complying with the daily cleaning rotas
Includes evening and weekend working patterns.
