Age UK Isle of Wight are recruiting Support Workers and it could be YOU!
Our ‘Just About You’ Home Help Service is made up of trained, friendly Support Workers whose primary focus is to support an individual to maintain independence and live well at home.
We cover the whole Island, and the support is tailored to the individual’s needs. Requests for support are varied and no two days are the same. One day you could be shopping, cleaning and undertaking meal preparation and the next day a client may want companionship and a trip to the sea front for an ice cream.
Our role is to work with the client to ensure that they are supported to lead the best life that they can.

If you are looking for a role that has:
- Flexible working hours - between 9am and 5pm
- Real Living Wage
- No weekend or evening work
- No personal care or medication administration
- Clients awaiting support in your designated area
Essential Criteria:
- Cheerful and engaging personality
- Empathic, patient and non-judgemental
- Can offer a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Full driving licence and access to transport to travel to our clients’ homes
